Lauren and Lukas were married on Sunday, July 3rd at a family estate in Philadelphia PA. I was so honored to celebrate with these two and so thankful for the thought and care they two put into this day.
When I stopped by the rehearsal-dinner-pool-party to meet them for the first time Lauren started telling me about all the details she had planned. She was very clear, this was not a rustic wedding. There would be no wood or burlap. Instead she had made neon light details and ombre rainbow place cards made out of paint swatches. I was in love!
My favorite part of the wedding day was a surprise song that Lukas sang to Lauren during the reception. He had the band play “The Way You Make Me Feel” by Michael Jackson and he belted his heart out for the crowd and for Lauren. It was hilarious and adorable all wrapped into one!
Lauren and Lukas, thank you for inviting me to be a part of your celebration. I had such a great time working with you and wish you a lifetime of happiness. Enjoy the photos!
Lukas is from Vermont so Lauren gave him these State of Vermont cufflinks to wear for the wedding.
These next few images are from the first time Lauren’s grandma saw her in her dress. She kept saying “to think I held you as a baby!” and “I’m just so happy to be here.” Yes, obviously, everyone was crying.
Lauren and Lukas decided to do a first look so these next few images are of the first time they saw each other.
Lukas turned around so that Lauren could see the back of his suit and realized they were being watched through the windows by Lauren’s sisters and friends.
Lauren also DIYed all the florals for the wedding. She did an awesome job!
Lauren made this True Love neon light sign for their table.
How cool is this cake topper! I had to take a picture of it at night for full effect.
