I mentioned this their preview post, but Alisha and Andy have a really fun love story. They met on a Pittsburgh city bus on an ordinary day just riding to work. Weeks later they decided to get together for the first time, again, while riding the bus. When I was thinking about this I was reminded of a saying that really sums up their story,
A simple hello could lead to a million things.
Seriously people, you never know when or where you’re going to meet someone.
I really wanted to find a bus for some photographs on their wedding day. Luckily there is a bus stop where the drivers take a break near the park where we took pictures. When we finished taking pictures at the park I told Alisha and Andy that we were going to swing by and if a bus was there we should try to get on it.
The first step was easy, there was a bus. The second step of convincing the driver to let us on was a little more difficult, but who can say no to a bride in a pretty dress with succulents in her bouquet… no one, obviously. 😉
Alisha’s veil was really lovely, I could have photographed it all day.
Alisha and Andy had a friend photograph their reception which was at the Union Project. It was lovely and filled with beautiful spring flowers. Congrats Alisha and Andy, and thank you for inviting me to part of your wedding day!
