Every time I photograph a wedding where it rains I hear guests tell the bride and groom that rain on your wedding day is good luck. I’m pretty sure this is an old wives tale… but if it’s true, Adrienne and Zach are two of the LUCKIEST people I know!
These two didn’t let the weather dampen their spirits or their celebration. Instead of going to North Park for photos we drove downtown to the convention center. The illuminated waterfall and path that leads to the river under the convention center is a fun spot for photos when the weather is less than ideal.
Some of my favorite moments of the day were watching Zach dance with his grandmother during the reception and when a group of Ghostbusters crashed the wedding and took a photo with the bride… (they were on a halloween scavenger hunt!)
Thank you Adrienne and Zach for inviting me to be a part of your heartfelt celebration! You guys made the rain look good. 🙂 Congrats!
This next photo was a happy accident. I was testing the light before we walked out into the rain for photos with the bridges in the background, but when I was going through the photos later it became one of my favorites. I love the look on their faces… like are we really about to do this?!?
These next few photos are of Zach dancing with his Grandma, his mom passed away several years ago and it was evident throughout the day that she is greatly missed. 
When you get married on Halloween weekend don’t be surprised if the Ghostbusters crash your wedding!
